Pikmin is king

Ok so Tate is obsessed with this new game he borrowed from his cousins (thanks Joe). He loves the game, he talks about it all day long, says he dreams about, and wakes up talking about. It is quite funny.

Hudson is at the stage in life where she follows her brother around and wants to do everything that he is doing. Here is a picture of Tate playing his Pikmin game with his ever present "side kick" Hudson.

Hudson & Tate have started taking a tumbling class. Which Tate absolutely loves (of course) and Hudson wants to love until she gets there then she cries and holds my leg saying how much she is going to miss me! She has been really clingy lately and I am not sure if I should be flattered or flabergasted. She never wants me to leave her anywhere! Sunday is becoming quite a challenge when it is time for nursery. I am hoping this is a phase that she will soon grow out of.

I have joined the blogging world!

I have been fighting this blogging thing for some time now. I felt like all our family lives close by, so their is no need for me to keep people posted on what we are doing. But, now I've realized this is almost like keeping a journal (kinda of). I am counting it! So, for the new year I am going to try this out and see how I feel about it!

We've had some major changes this last year. The first being the addition of our third child Harper

Harper is the sweetest most mellow baby we have ever had.

The next big event was Tate started Kindergarten. He attends a Charter school whose emphasis is service learning, leveling and Spanish. He absolutely loves school and his teacher Ms. Johnson. We are stoked that Tate is able to attend this school, we feel like it will challenge him and keep him from being a problem child like his daddy was :)

The final big event this year was potty training Hudson. Which, she pretty much did all by herself. One day she decided that she wanted to wear her princess underwear. We put her in the underwear expecting the worst, but lo and behold we had no accidents and she is full trained. Hudson is a handful, her personality absolutely matches her hair color. She definitely shares the same spit-fire personality as me (poor girl).

Tommy is working as a Marketing manager / IT Director for his company. He absolutely loves he job and what he does. I am feel very blessed that I am able to be a full time stay at home mom and still do a little work on the side. I keep the books and do payroll for the Chamber of Commerce, a company that I have worked for the last seven years. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Tate's Charter school as the Financial Coordinator and Marketing Director. We are just chugging along, living life and enjoying every minute of it!
