They were my favorite PJ’s. You know how you fall in love with a piece of your children’s clothing, like really odd attachment- I will still put you in this even though you outgrew it 2 months ago because I can’t bear to be done with it – attachment. That is the case with these jammies. I got them for Tate and they were so Tate-tastic. They just fit his little three year old personality so well. Sadly, he outgrew them but I held on to them with the hope that: One, I could pass it on to some miniature Tate someday or Two, we’d have another boy. Enter Gideon. Gideon wore the beloved pajamas until they were getting pretty worn out, he even ripped a hole in the back. I quickly snatched them from him and put them in the top of my closet. Did I throw them out? of course not. My heart just couldn’t let them go. Enter Reece. The last and final wearer of the prized stripey PJ’s. But to my poor heart’s demise, Reece has ripped them up the legs and finished what Gideon started on the back of the shirt. Goodbye stripey jammies, you served us well.
