Wicked Smart

If you've ever held a conversation with Tate, you'll notice he's a bit of a brainiac. It's cool, however, Tate is also a very "exact" kid. What I mean is that he needs to be correct about things and will correct you if he thinks you misstated something (Yes, it gets annoying).

So, Tate is over at my brother Matt's house reading a book on the couch while my brother is watching "The Other Side of Heaven". In the movie, the Elder Groberg is talking to his girlfriend, Jean, about the moon and says it is 93 million miles away. Tate pops his head up and says, "actually, that's the distance of the sun."

Matt, just for fun, googles it and, yeah, it was right. What a know-it-all. :)

Our Package Finally Arrived Today!

It's been a long time coming but we are so excited about our new addition to the family: Gideon Thomas Triplett.

Mom and baby are both healthy and doing well. Here are the stats;

• Weight: 7 lbs 13 oz
• Length: 19 inches
• Time: 1:44 PM

And last, for some reason, this Hazmat guy was there the entire time (what is up with that outfit?).

It's not goodbye, It's hello

So tomorrow is the big day and since this is probably my last pregnancy, I can't help but reflect on things that I am going to miss.

• Feeling this little guys squirming around inside of me. The fact that their is a tiny human inside my body is mind blowing.
• The kids kissing "the baby" goodnight everynight.
• The kids rubbing my belly and hugging it all day long
• Harper talking to my belly and telling the baby stories
• Harper telling everyone about her baby Prince Charming that is inside my belly
• Tommy being in awe when he can see and feel the baby move.

What an incredible thing and although I have been counting down the days for this to be over, A part of me is a bit sad for the things that will be gone. But by this time tomorrow, I will have a tiny little one in my arms. What could be better than that? Here's to tomorrow.

Boys vs Girls

The kids were watching Cinderella tonight and it got to the part where the Fairy Godmother shows up in the Garden.

Hudson: "Mom, how did the Fairy Godmother just show up? Is that like magic or something?"

Tate: "No Hudson, she teleported there"
