Fort time

I love when summer boredom kicks in and the kids come up with gems like this.

Professor Tate

"Professor Tate, please come to the front desk..."

Best Babysitter Ever

We came home from our date to a ginormous fort (with our kids all inside "attempting" to go to sleep. What an awesome babysitter.

Short Bus

Our fun neighbor bought a short bus at an auction and now gives rides to church in it.

It reminded me of my school days...

Bountiful Pond

We love to visit Bountiful pond.  This visit was an attempt to help baby want to come out.  So done being pregnant.IMG_20120610_193811 IMG_20120610_193756 IMG_20120610_200341  IMG_20120610_193718

Dinosaur Park

As much as I try to avoid going anywhere with four kids by myself, (while pregnant with number five) my friend talked me in to joining her for an excursion to dinosaur park.  Between the two of us we have EIGHT kids.  Luckily we only lost one kid for a few minutes and the kids seemed to have an enjoyable time.  Except for the animatronics room.  Gideon would not step one foot in that room.  He thought the moving dinosaurs were straight up freaktastic.

okay, so maybe most of the dinos freaked him out a bit.  I love that he's keeping his eyes on this guy.

He was good to go once we made it outside.

Dare devil

Hudson is by far our most daring, fearless child.  She wanted to ride every single ride at Lagoon.

But, I think Gideon is going to give her a run for her money.

Harper seems to take after Tate by being a bit more cautious when approaching a new situation.  Here is Harper's face while looking at one of the kiddie rides at Lagoon (read: pure terror).

Out Smarted Again

We told Harper she couldn't leave the house without something that covers her shoulders. She returned with this.

(psst. For men who don't have daughters, those are leggings on her arms)

Preschool Graduation

This was Harper's second year of preschool at Memory Lane.  To say she LOVED it would be the understatement of a lifetime.  The teacher, Ms. Staci, is the kindest, gentlest human being on the planet.  Which was perfect for Harper, who tends to be shy and doesn't like new situations.  It was a great year and she was adorable at her end of year performance singing and dancing.  Now off to the big Kindergarten.  Yah!
