We had a unique situation with our kids. After Jessica was born (Will & Anna’s first child), there were 11 boys born in row before Hudson broke the streak. What that means is there is a glut of older, mostly nerdy boys who like to hang out at our get-togethers.
For the most part, they go rat-hole themselves somewhere with a board game for most of the night. But sometimes they hang with us and chat. It’s fun to watch their interactions and kinship.
As usual, we made Valentine’s day boxes for the kids.
Harper made a vending machine, while made a hot air balloon. Tate helped make the balloon – he assists more and more these days – which is great.
The older kids at the school have a Valentine’s day dance. It’s pretty neat. They have dance cards which they fill out before hand.
