At one point close to the top, Megan decided she didn't want to go any further. I harassed her until she angrily relented. We summited and got some gorgeous pictures at the top. Megan said she was glad I made her go (I'm documenting this so I can bring it up again later).
Gideon kept way ahead of us even though I asked/told him to stay closer. I was ahead of the girls and when I got back to the car, Gideon wasn't there. I hiked back back to the girls to see if they'd seen Gideon. It was getting dark and I was a little worried. We said a prayer and then all split up to look for him and then rendevous again in 5 minutes. Megan had the presence of mind to call out Gideon's name. And we heard a faint reply from a far off. We followed it and found Gideon at the end of a different trail (He'd made a wrong turn).
