Just waiting for a yard

Wev'e been in construction purgatory for nearly 9 months. This included major construction on our street. But the finish line is in view. The construction is in it's final stages and the lawn is quickly shaping up.

Unfortunately, the sod got delayed two weeks so our yard remains a desert of dust. The kids run around in it and get incredibly messy. Megan found Reece, right after taking a bath, throwing dirt into the air all over himself. Regardless of how many times we've told them dust themselves off before coming in, we have tracks of dirt everywhere in the house.

Tucker hates it too. We now take him to the neighbors house to go potty just so he doesn't get filthy. He lays down and stretches out in the grass. He wants grass bad.

Right now, we can't even park in the driveway. It has a dumpster, all the left over construction material, and two massive piles of gravel.

All we really wanted was to get our yard redone but, ironically, we had to figure out and do the next round of construction on on the house because the landscapers needed to know how to grade away from the house; to solve the drainage issues in the basement.

Bye Bye Dance

Now that Harper is a cheerleader, she has decided to stop dance. This was her team and coach gathered together after their last dance together.

This was really bitter sweet because Harper has literally been doing this her entire life. It's really defined her and been such a part of her life over the years.

When the kids get a hold of your phone

Twenty shortcuts to tiktok and now my background is a strange face shot of my neice, Lina.

And then there's the selfies. Harper and Reece are by far the worst but they all do it, except for Tate.
