A die hard fan

While waiting to get his cast removed (broken wrist that only took 3 days to discover - oops), Gideon insisted on sitting in the far corner of the doctor's office (even though he could barely see the disney movie) because that is where the Giraffe's were on the wall. That loyalty, folks.

Winter Wrap up

Zion's Keyhole (huh?)

Yeah, I thought it would be fun to take the kids through the keyhole. It was early November but since I did the subway in October the year before, I thought it would be okay. Let's just say they weren't smiling when we came out the other side - 2 hours later.

Sledding with boys

Hudson and Harper have a funny bond with some boys they keep meeting at Megan's work retreat each year. They set up a sledding party. I'm not sure why they sledded on a road construction sign.

Now this was interesting. We invited our friends the Woolleys to come with us. It happened to be the coldest day of the year. It was SO COLD! but we tried to make the best of it. The ranger told us the next day that it hit -19 degress that night.
