This year was spent with Brady and Emily's family. We also brought several friends. The most eventful activities were going to the ice caves and Harper wrecking the 4 wheeler.

The 4 Wheeler after Harper rammed the cabin on her maiden ride.[/caption]Megan's Mental Health trip: In addition to the craziness of managing the family, Megan played general contractor to move the house work along. It nearly did her in so I bought her tickets to Long Beach and sent her away. She said this needs to be an yearly thing.

Much to my dismay, Megan tried surfing[/caption]Girls' Tuachan: Girls trip again. This is the last year they are traveling to St. George. Next year will just be to Hales Center Theater.

Snowbird: Had a blast again at Snowbird. Our kids really look forward to seeing their cousins and all the fun traditions; making t-shirts, bingo, tram rides, rollercoasters, and swimming, swimming, swimming.

Rollercoaster[/caption]The Fair: So far, I've only made it to the fair a handful of times. But I really like it. It's fun to see animals (and the kids who worked hard to win), the animal exhibits and the wacky booths.
We did have an incident with Reece getting lost. It got a little scary. We had a neat moment where we all prayed and then each kids searched in a different area. The fair personel eventually found him way in a different area (the animal stalls) as he was trying to make his way back to the parking lot. Funny. Reece didn't seemed very concerned at all.

Solar Eclipse: Megan and I were really on the face about driving to Idaho to see the total solar eclipse. We didn't know if it would be worth the kids missing school, but ultimately decided to do it. It was totally worth. And an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime xperience.
Now the 'Traffic'magedon on the way home was another story. We thought we outsmart everyone by chilling in Idaho Falls for a few hours (at subway, then the park, then the zoo, etc...) but we way underestimated the amount of traffic. We got on the road at 7 PM and didn't get home til after midnight. Phew!

Wasting time at Sportsman park.[/caption]Boys' Tuachan: We did a boys' Tuacahn this year. I, of course, hijacked it by taking the boys down echo canyon (slot canyon) in Zions. It was really cool, but I got ticketed for having too many people than permitted and we nearly missed the Tuacahn performance, Shrek.
