So this little guys is already TWO

The two year stats:
Weight  - 29 lbs 60th percentile
Height - 34.5 Inches 50th percentile
Head 70 percentile

Here are the things that Gideon is doing right now:

• Gets up really close to my face to tell me stuff.
• says "no mommy no," a lot
• He is obsessed with trains, planes, helicopters and garbage trucks.
• When you play the game where is your arm?  He pops it out of the sleeve with his eyes and mouth opened up huge.
• Loves being outside.
• He tortures our poor dog by hitting her with light sabers, kicking her while saying "kick" and pulling on her whiskers and or ears
• Counts 1-2-3 go and then jumps or throws things.
• Loves music and dancing.  He is even starting to recognize popular songs and will sing words from the song like "tonight, we are young"  
• Wants to be part of and participate in whatever the family is doing.  If we are having scripture study he raises his hand just like the others to answer questions.  Or he says over and over "I know, I know" and when you call on him he does a karate chop. 
• He loves to be in his bed.  When he wakes up in the morning he will find his binkie and stay in bed for about another 45 minutes to an hour.  

We sure love this guy.  He is a charmer to the core.  He instantly wraps people around his little finger when he meets them.  He smiles and talks and dances and they are smitten by him.  He makes me laugh my guts out daily and at the same time want to pull my hair out because he is so independent and adamant that he do everything by himself.  He definitely wants to do everything that the "older" kids are doing.  He is such a fun little guy and we love having him in our family.

Valentines Day Fun

Megan does such a good job of making holidays and birthdays so much fun. Here are some of the things she did on Valentines day;

Carwashphobia

Took the kids through the automatic carwash the other night. The kids love to doing it. At least I thought they did.

I noticed Gideon with his hands smashed against his eyes. He did this every time the sprayer would pass by his window. He'd only take a peak after it passed. I didn't realize it was so scary for him.

Although, it was pretty funny to watch.

Winners and Losers

Tate created this dragon Valentine's day box for school. They did a vote and he lost. He was pretty bummed. He thought for sure he would take one of the categories.

Shortly after, Tate redeemed himself by winning 1st place for his watercolor painting at his school's night of the arts. He made this watercolor with this Grandma while they were in Washington. He was pretty stoked.
