Fireworks Extravaganza

Every year our neighbors do a firework show for the 24th of July. I am not talking the "we splurged and bought the $50 pack of fireworks at the grocery store". No this is bigger. Much bigger. It involves music, scafolding and about $1500 worth of fireworks. I am not even joking! It is like the mini "stadium of fire" right here in little old Bountiful. Thanks Earnshaws for making our night, if not louder, a whole lot brighter.

Some Summer Fun For All You Mommies Out There

The nuggets and I did something fun today that I thought many of you fellow mommies would enjoy. We made sidewalk chalk paint. It was super easy and when I say easy I mean super way easy and the kids loved it. Here is the mix:

1/4 c cornstarch

1/4 c water

food coloring to your liking

We mixed the ingredients together and it made sort of a watery substance. We used paintbrushes to spread it on the driveway. It dried really thick and cool looking. If your kids are looking for something to do this is sure to be a hit. Mine absolutely loved it and we kept making more "paint" until we ran out of cornstarch.

i heart tate

Daily tate makes me laugh, hard. Today we were driving up to my mom's house and this is the conversation going on in the back seat (after hudson told tate that he had to give her the sunglasses then proceeded to count to three when he didn't hand them over):
"Hudson where did you get this counting thing from, you are not the mom" "You really need to stop doing that" "Hudson some times people do stuff that bothers other people, that is called being obnoxious. You may like doing it but they don't like to hear it"

Sweet New Job
