Is it just me or is that a nine year old in the picture? A NINE YEAR OLD! When did I get old enough to have a nine year old. And the most genuine kind hearted nine year old you will ever meet. Tate celebrated his birthday this year with a bang at classic fun center. With no pictures to prove it (wish he knew a photographer :)). I am so dang stinking proud of this kid and the person that he is. I want to have my own talk show where I can just sit and talk about all the wonderful things that my son does and how he is going to change the world. These are some of the things that I love about Tate
- He is the most real nine year old that you will ever meet.
- He has a heart that is 10 sizes to big for his chest. (I was watching some footage on Stephanie Nielson (if you don't know who I am talking about you live under a rock) and I looked behind me to see huge alligator tears rolling down Tate's cheeks)
- He makes me want to be a better person just so that I can feel worthy to be called his mother
- He is an awesome big brother, he rarely teases his younger sisters and goes out of his way to make sure that they are happy
- He is so mature beyond his years. He has the wisdom of a thirty year old.
- His testimony of Jesus Christ.
- How responsible he is (When I arrived late home today he had come home from school, left for scouts and left me a note to tell me where he was)
- His never ending quest to do what is right
I love this boy with all my heart and feel totally blessed to able to be in the presence of his spirit.
