Snow-Biggity-Bird

Once again, we had our every-other-year Snowbird tradition. This is a very beloved vacation.

Here are some of the Highlights:

Countdown to Snowbird: There is a lot of anticipation about Snowbird.

Paper Airplanes: Gideon loves making paper airplaines and snowbird's atrium was too big a temptation for him to pass up. He ended up making some gigantic airplanes that he launched from the 9th floor. I stayed down below to be the catcher.

Swimming: This is probably the biggest draw. The kids love swimming everyday in the pools with their cousins. A legendary quadruple stack was acheived. And the cousins were thrilled the girls have grown out of their mermaid fins.

One new development is that my girls are noticing boys. Some cute boys doing flips into the water caught Hudson's eye and JBJ dared her to ask for their number. The closest she got was sitting next to me while I requested them to do trick dives.

The Tram: The tram ride is always super fun. It was just the our family because the other families bailed on this for various reasons. We nearly got the whole tram to ourselves but some other family joined at the last minute. It was still a lot less crowded than it usually is.

Elevators and Halls: I think if Snowboard only had elevators and hallways, our kids would still think it was amazing The kids love going up and down the elevators and halls. Probably a little too much.

Fan Club: A byproduct of Nanny's addiction is her fan club. This is the natural gathering of kiddos interested in Nanny's video game progress.

Shirts: The shirt activity is a must at Snowbird. about 4 years ago, Harper was sick at Snowbird and made a shirt that said "Harper is Sick". It clearly left an impression on Tenly who hilariously recreated the it.

Games: From bingo (where Harper won a mug) to shuffleboard (Gideon loved it) to 'Around the World Ping Pong: Pain Edition, to Dice (I have no idea what the name of this game is), a lot of games are had.

Activity Day: We always take one day to do all the Snowbird rides. It's a lot of fun. Reece and Gideon attempted to do the free fall ride. Gideon went up but came back down. Later he went up again and jumped. Reece went up three times but never jumped. We'll try again next year.
