Construction Pergatory

We are doing major construction on our house right now (again). The plan is to build a gable on the front of the house and a covered deck in the back. We were going to include a garage (for parking the garage), but nixed it due to the cost.



I don't think we fully thought it through because, for a couple months, neither of the front doors nor the back door were accessible. We could only get in via the back back door. And everyone has to climb over the uncovered deck joists to get in.



I'm shocked no one has been injured yet. We essentially had a moat around the front door and I kept expecting someone to come walk up to the house at night and fall into the hole.



The best part is the city has started contruction on our road as well. So, basically everything is torn up.
