Tucker is a great dog. And he has a great life. He gets lots of attention from the family and gets regularly walked.
Inevitably, we have to leave him alone at home sometimes so we put him in his kennel. He does NOT like being in it. He whines and barks. And then at some point; he starts tearing the thing apart. First he chewed up the beds that were placed inside.
Megan once left a towel on top of the kennel and he chewed it to pieces from the inside of the kennel.
Then he started pulling the metal apart.
We ended up replacing the metal one with a bigger plastic kennel. Well, we ripped the door off off this one too. This was after tearing another bed apart. It looks like Tucker was either involved in some type of bank heist, or he exploded spontaneously combusted.
I'm not sure if he's got anxiety that we won't come back or what, but the dude has issues.
