Two years ago, Nanny and Papa sold their Bear Lake house. It was very sad for our family. Harper, was by far the most vocal about it. She says, "I miss Bear Lake" and "I love Bear Lake" quite often.
We were finally able to spend a weekend up there with my brother's family. It was definitely different because we didn't get to stay in our usual house and hang out on our beach spot, but it was fun.
We did rent jet skis. Harper, while riding on them, (with Hudson driving), stated, "Okay, yeah, this feels like Bear Lake".
Afterward, we stayed at the KOA in Garden city, and it was a lot of fun.
We were also able to re-create the smore's roasting tradition.
