After a few mishaps, my children have dubbed me a menace to their outdoor life (The original Subway hike and Coyote Gulch traumatized them a bit). They always think I'm trying to kill them.
The last year, we've made most hikes voluntary and we usually get about 50% participation.
But last month, Harper expressed some interest in doing some hikes with me; which I was thrilled to accommodate.
So far we've climbed to Grandeur Peak, Mt Aire, Dog (and Silver) Lake, and then DeMoisy Peak (the rest of the family was in tow for this one, but we led the way to the top).
I'm loving it!
