A couple months ago, Hudson got a job at the Sweet Cake Shop. She did procrastinate getting a job the entire summer, but that's not the point.
The shop was in Kaysville but relocated to Bountiful Main street; so it's really convenient for her.
Like many employers, they are short handed. Hudson convinced Harper to apply and so she now works there too. It's really fun to see them leaving together and discussing their work.
This is Harper's first official job. Here are 2 observations:
1) Hudson told me that she works really hard. As a parent, that makes me proud, but at the same time, it's a little infuriating because she's struggles with simple chores at home.
2) She is only 14 so we are still working out a reasonable schedule for her. I don't think her employer understood this at first and worked her quite a bit at first.
