On the very first warm springy day that we have my kids want to: turn on the sprinklers, have a lemonade stand, fly kites, get out the sidewalk chalk, jump on the tramp and most important: have a picnic.
The only problem is, their idea of a picnic is to haul seven blankets, the dog, the dogs food and every single stuffed animal they own out to the front lawn. Super fun, I know, but six hours later after the kids are all in bed, guess who remembers all the fun picnic stuff on the front lawn? The joys of parenthood.
