Valentines Day Boxes 2019

Last Valentine's Day, I nearly killed myself when I built three animal valentine's day box. The shapes were really hard and it required a lot of paper mache.

This year, there are only two kids that are still doing boxes; Reece and Gideon.

For Reece, I lucked out that he just wanted a minecraft chest. It was basically just a square box. Yes!

However, I tried to get clever with Gideon's box, so I repurposed a giant valentines day heart I made for Megan last year. We decided to build a plinko game out of it. I used toilet paper rolls for the pegs, but soon found that I had vastly underestimated the number of pegs needed. I had to solicit a bunch of neighbors to donate their toitlet paper rolls.

Also, it was quite large. I had to drive the kids separate to school because it would barely fit in the Volvo.

In the end, it turned out great and was a big hit at school. Success!
