This Christmas was so enjoyable.
Megan does an incredible job making Christmas a magical experience. From the Advent Calendar to the Santa Claus pancakes to the super fun gifts she gets.
But the kids are at a fun stage in life where they now get really involved with festivities.
DECORATIONS
They help put up the decorations. Harper is probably the most persistent at this. She talks about it and helps put things up.
TRADITIONS
Also, the kids are really keyed into the traditions; from the advent calendar to the reading of books each night, the kids make sure we don't miss anything and sometimes, they do it themselves.
GIFT GIVING
This year, the kids were all determined to give gifts to everyone. And they did. They even went in on gifts for Mom and Dad. Bacci balls game for me and a cute build-a-bear with all their voices recorded for Mom.
The kids learned how hard it can be sometimes to keep the presents secret from each other. Here is Reece browsing the web incognito.
MUSIC
We can broadcast music into the house speader system so Harper makes sure there was Christmas music playing everyday since Thanksgiving.
FIREPLACE
One of our best investments was converting our fireplace to a gas fireplace. We used to only light a fire on Christmas Eve, but now it gets turned on every evening and the kids will spend hours in front of it.
