Just like everyone else we had a fabulous Christmas. Everything changes when you have kids. Christmas becomes so magical and is like 250% times better than when you were single or first married. The look of awe on the kids faces when they wake up Christmas morning to see that there is really presents under the tree and the stockings are all filled up with goodies.
This is the look I am talking about

Harps was pretty set with the candy necklace from her stocking
See what I mean...
Harps - hey baby - look at mommy (she loves to do this when I pull out the camera) Please Harper look at mommmy (giggle from Harper)
Hey Harper look mommy has candy - hey hey gotcha
Harper say cheese
Tate ripping into one of his gifts

And then the carnage of a very successful Christmas morning
Harper got a princess tent for Christmas. Have I mentioned before that she is obessesed with Princesses. Hudson was never like this so this is unchartered territory for me. Harper has princess jammies, a pillow, outfits, dolls ect. We have to stop everytime she sees a princess on something at the store. Anyway I digress. Back to the tent. We were looking for Harper and didn't know where she had got off too. Low and behold she had grabbed all her princess dolls that she had received in her stocking and was just sitting in her tent not making a sound. Oh my gosh! can I just eat her up with a spoon.
All in all it was a great Christmas. I was spoiled by my rocking husband. We had made a deal before Christmas that we were not going to get each other anything. Because I had just got a new laptop and a few month ago. Of course Tommy didn't follow plans. So I looked like the jerk that got him an alarm clock and some small tools. Although the absolute best present he got me was a book that he made on Shutterfly called "Megan and Tommy and how they met" It starts out... "once upon a time their was a boy named Tommy (with Tommy's baby picture) and a girl named Megan" (with my baby picture) and then goes to tell our dating story. It is the sweetest most wonderful gift that I have ever received. Man alive I am in love with my husband, even if he does make me look like a cheap-o on Christmas morning.
