Up all night


For a reward lately we have been letting the kids take turns staying up later with mom and dad.  It has gone over so well and it costs us NADA.  The kids usually want to play a short board game or cards with us.  It is wonderful to spend a little one on one time with each child.  Hudson had to have pictures on her stay up night.

Matt's parents did this with each of their nine kids and they loved it. They would also sometimes take video and also ask questions to the kids during their "night up". We were just watching Matt's video when he was around 4 years old, the other day. Such a great idea to give kids that cherished alone time.
